Fifth arson attack on former RAF site

A former RAF site has been targeted for a fifth time.

At just before 7.30pm on Friday firefighters from Ramsey were called to a fire at the former RAF Upwood site.

On arrival the crew discovered a building was on fire, with the blaze having been started deliberately.

A fortnight ago arsonists struck twice, with around 40 firefighters called out on one occasion after a large, derelict building was set on fire, with the flames spreading to the roof.
