The Tesco trucker was driving on the A1 (M) at Sawtry when they saw a damaged Infiniti car.
A Bedfordshire, Cambridgehsire and Hertfordshire police spokesman said: "An eagle eyed lorry driver for Tesco spotted this vehicle travelling along the A1(M) & called the police.
"The lorry driver remained with the driver of this vehicle until police arrived. The driver was arrested for drink driving."
