The victim, a man in his 70s, was withdrawing money from the NatWest cash machine in Hall Place, Spalding, at around midday on April 14 when a man who was walking past him on the pavement made contact with the victim’s arm.

The victim asked the suspect to be careful as he was concerned about the two metre spacing rule in view of the current coronavirus situation. The suspect responded and without warning spat at the victim, saliva making contact on the back of victims head.
