Cyclist critically ill after quad bike collision in Peterborough

Two men are in a serious condition in hospital following a collision between a quad bike and a cyclist in Peterborough last night.

At about 4.20pm officers and paramedics attended the incident involving a Yamaha quad bike, a pedal cycle, a Toyota Prius and a Renault Scenic.

The quad bike rider, a 27-year-old man, was taken to Peterborough City Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.

The cyclist, an 18-year-old man, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge where he remains in a critical condition.

The drivers of the cars remained at the scene and were not injured.
