Crescent Bridge in Peterborough has re-opened to traffic after police closed the road earlier today due to concerns for a person’s safety.

Police and ambulance were called at 11.25am.

A spokesman for LNER said trains on all lines to and from Peterborough station were running at reduced speeds.

A police spokesman said the man was ‘with officers and would be taken to hospital.’
