Class A drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds seized from Peterborough home

Police have seized class A drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds after a raid at a Peterborough address.

The raid was carried out in the Westwood area of the city after two men were arrested yesterday.

The men were arrested after reports of a suspected drug deal in Padholme Road yesterday.

The 21-year-olds were arrested in nearby Royce Road on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs after officers found what is believed to be cocaine, heroin and £250 in cash.

One man has been released under investigation while the other remains in custody.
