CCTV appeal after man snatches handbag in street robbery

Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace after a robbery in Wisbech.

The victim, aged in her 50s, was walking along Oakroyd Crescent at about 2.20pm on Tuesday, June 22, when she was approached by a man from behind.

The suspect grabbed her handbag and ran off with it following a struggle.

The handbag was dropped in De Havilland Road but a purse had been stolen.

The woman was not injured.
