Caravan torched by Cambridgeshire arsonists

A caravan was torched by arsonists in Thorney in the middle of the night.

Fire fighters were called to French Drove, Thorney at about 12.16am after receiving reports of the blaze.

One crew from Thorney and one crew from Crowland (Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service) were called to the scene.

Firefighters sued a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their station by 1.10am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should call police on 101.
