Beechwood Road: Suspect arrested on suspicion of Wisbech murder found dead

A 45-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of the murder of Eliza Bibby in Wisbech has been found dead.
Police were called to HMP Peterborough at about 3.50pm on Wednesday (January 25) with a report of a sudden death.

Hide AdThe man, of no fixed abode, had been arrested and bailed on suspicion of murdering 47-year-old Eliza Bibby but remanded in custody in connection with unrelated allegations.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and the case will be passed to the coroner.
Eliza’s body was found at her home in Beechwood Road on January 10.
A post-mortem examination concluded she died of multiple stab wounds.

Hide AdA 42-year-old woman from Wisbech has also been arrested and bailed on suspicion of murder, but remanded in custody in connection with unrelated allegations.
