Arsonists torch fence in Peterborough

Firefighters tackled fence fires in Peterborough last night.

A crew from Stanground were firstly called out at 7.25pm to Saxonbury Way in Hempsted then at 9.16pm to Whitwell in Paston.

The fire in Saxonbury Way was started accidentally, Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service said, while the one in Whitwell was started deliberately.

Anyone with information on the deliberate fire should call police on 101.
