Arsonists strike in Peterborough

Arsonists struck in Peterborough this weekend, with a bin store and a bed frame set alight.

On Saturday at 4.14am, one crew from Dogsthorpe was called to a fire on Link Road, Central ward.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a bed frame on fire outside a building.

The crew returned to their station by 4.50am.

Also on Saturday at 8.40pm, one crew from Stanground was called to a bin store fire on Wayside Crescent, Hampton Vale.

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, before returning to their stations by 9.45pm.
