Armed robbers threaten Peterborough shop assistant before escaping with cash

Police are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a business premises in Peterborough yesterday evening (Monday).

It was reported that at about 8.30pm three men with a firearm held a shop assistant against their will while they attempted to take cash out of the till.

The men then left the shop in Donaldson Drive, Paston, and ran towards Paston Ridings.

They are all described as white men carrying sports bags, wearing black clothing and scarves over their faces.
