Appeal to trace Peterborough woman wanted over drug and money laundering offences

Police are appealing for help in locating a woman wanted in connection with producing controlled drugs and money laundering offences.

Investigators from the Eastern Region Special Operations Unit (ERSOU) are looking to speak with 33-year-old Karolina Kiminiene, also known as Karolina Sakele, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. She has connections to Peterborough as well as to Taurage, Klaipeda and Kaunas in Lithuania.

She is described as a white, slim, and 5’5” (167cm).

Detective Inspector John Tacey said: “We are asking for the public’s help in locating Karolina Kiminiene as we would like to speak to her in connection with a drugs and money laundering investigation.

“There is potential that she may have returned to Lithuania, so in particular I am asking for the help from anyone with links there to share our appeal with friends and family who may be able to assist our enquiries.”

Members of the public are asked to call 101 if they have any information on her potential whereabouts, quoting Operation Sheth. Information can also be submitted anonymously via independent charity Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
