The Peterborough Prevention and Enforcement Service is asking for the public’s help to catch the people responsible for dumping a mattress in Peterborough Road, Ailsworth, fridges in Russell Street, and sofas in Gladstone Street. The latter two places are in Millfield.

The PES said: “Fly-tipping is illegal, please ensure you only allow a licensed carrier to take away your waste or you risk it being fly-tipped.

“If it’s your waste, it’s your responsibility.
