Appeal after gold jewellery stolen from Peterborough home

Officers investigating a burglary in Peterborough on 13 August have released images of jewellery that was stolen.

A large amount of family gold worth about £2,800 was stolen from the property in South Street between 8.15am and 5.30pm, along with a 58” TV, an iPad, clothing, cash, handbags and other items.

A rear kitchen window was used to gain entry to the house before the items were taken.

DC Natalie Hines said: “I would urge members of the public to come forward if they have any information relating to this burglary or have been offered the jewellery in the pictures for sale.

“The incident has left the victim extremely upset and I’d ask anyone with information to contact us.”
