Appeal after car fails to stop for police in Stamford town centre

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a dark green Volkswagen Golf failed to stop for police in Stamford last night (Thursday).

At about 8.30pm the car drove at high speed through the town centre and failed to stop when prompted by officers in a police vehicle.

Inquiries are ongoing into the incident and investigating officers would like to hear from any witnesses who may have seen the car in and around the town centre last nigh
