Cambridgeshire police said last night (Wednesday) it had visited a number of addresses in Whittlesey following “various complaints from local residents”.

The force added: “The aim of our visits was to inform a number of youths that we had received information relating to their possible unpleasant activities. Thank you to all the parents for being so accommodating to our unscheduled visits.

Meanwhile, Lincolnshire Police said last night it has been responding to reports of anti-social behaviour in the Deepings.

The force said: “Anti-social behaviour patrols have been carried out frequently in the Deepings over the last three evenings due to a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour around the Godsey Lane area.

“Patrols will continue tomorrow.”
