A1M motorist clocked at 140mph to appear in court

A motorist who was reportedly clocked doing 140mph on the A1M is set to appear in court after being stopped by police.

The 27-year-old driver was spotted by traffic police near junction 14 of the A1M (Alconbury) on Thursday before being pulled over.

A police spokesperson said: "He has been reported for exceeding the speed limit and is due to appear in court."
