WATCH: "You're going to get strip-searched" - Drug dealer from Peterborough stashed class As in his underpants
Police could feel something suspicious in his ‘groin area’
A class A drug dealer who was caught hiding his stash in his underpants has been given a curfew and ordered to carry out unpaid work.
Jan Samko, 21, was arrested on 2 November by Neighbourhood Support Team officers who were on plain-clothed patrols in Stanground in response to concerns about drug dealing in the area.
A Cambs police spokesperson said: “Officers spotted a white Citroen DS4 parked up outside the home of a known drug user, prompting officers to speak with the driver – Samko.

“On smelling cannabis coming from the car, Samko was detained for a search when an officer believed he could feel a carrier bag in Samko’s groin area, resulting in him being taken into custody for a strip-search.
“The further search found a bag containing 62 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine worth about £600 in Samko’s underpants.”
Samko, of Thistlemoor Road, Millfield, Peterborough, appeared at Huntingdon Law Court on Thursday (12 December) where he was sentenced to two years in prison, suspended for two years, after previously pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin.
He must also carry out 250 hours of unpaid work and adhere to a curfew between 8pm and 6am for the next six months.

Detective Constable Joshua Crown, who investigated, said: “This was some great proactive work by our Neighbourhood Support Team who were responding to concerns from the local community about drug dealing in Stanground.
“We use many different tactics to disrupt drug dealing and gather intelligence, however information from our communities will always play a key part in this.”
