Champion swimmer opens Peterborough school's sports day
On June 23, Claire Cunningham, a former Paralympic Champion swimmer and currently an international paratriathlete competing for Great Britain, opened Discovery Primary School's Sports Day.
Claire spent the afternoon talking to the children, sharing her medals with them and supporting them as they completed their races.
The children, parents and staff thoroughly enjoyed the day and all the children should be very proud of their achievements, said spokeswoman Becky Swales.
