Car torched by arsonists in Peterborough

A car was torched by arsonists at the weekend.

Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service were called yesterday (Sunday, February 14) and a crew from Dogsthorpe attended Eastfield Road, Eastgate.

A car was well alight and the crew used a hose reel to extinguish it.

The call came in at 2.31am and the crew had returned to its station by 3.10am.

The cause of the fire was deliberate. Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
