Boy, 14, fighting for life after falling from roof

A fourteen year old boy is fighting for his life after falling from a roof in Bourne.

Emergency services were called to a derelict building in the Harvey Close area of Bourne just before 4.20 pm yesterday (Tuesday), following a report that a boy had fallen from a roof and was seriously injured.

Detective Inspector Mhairi Boulton, from Lincolnshire police, said: ““The air ambulance attended and a 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital. His condition is potentially life-threatening. We know that the victim was with other young people at the time and we are investigating, but what happened is not thought to be suspicious at this time.

“We do however need to urgently hear anyone that has information and has not yet spoken with us. Please make contact as soon as possible.”
