Appeal after Peterborough driver taken to hospital following road sign crash
Police are appealing for witnesses to a road crash this morning to come forward.

A car crashed into a road sign in Lincoln Road before 8am this morning, forcing the road to be closed between the Rhubarb Bridge and Mountsteven Avenue roundabouts.
The Magpas air ambulance was also called to the scene.
Police said a man was taken to hospital but that his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
A woman was also reported to have suffered minor injuries.
The road has now re-opened.

Hide AdThe BCH Road Policing Unit, which attended the scene, is now appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash to contact police.
