Around 50 tonnes of cardboard was destroyed in the fire, which started at around 12.45pm today.
A Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “There were 150 bales of compacted cardboard involved in the fire. The bales were methodically moved and then broken down so the fire could be put out. The last two crews have just left the scene (5pm) and one crew will return to check the site later this evening. The cause is being investigated.”
