The Air Ambulance landed in Peterborough today (May 4) at the scene of a sudden death of a man.

A large number of Police cars/vans and ambulance crews arrived at a property in Leon Drive, Cardea at around 2:45pm today, along with the Magpas Air Ambulance.

A man was seen being given emergency treatment in front of the house but he sadly passed away before he could be taken to hospital.

Police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for Cambridgeshire Police confirmed: “We were called at 2.45pm today (May 4) to reports of a sudden death of a man in Leon Drive, Peterborough.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.”
