A14 and M11 reopens westbound in Cambridgeshire after serious lorry crash but delays remain

A collision between two lorries and a car which sheared one of the HGV cabs completely off the base of the tractor unit, caused early morning traffic chaos on the A14 westbound at Fenstanton this Wednesday morning, July 29.

The road has now reopened but was closed from around 5am until 9.30am causing queues stretching back to Cambridge. The M11 westbound was also closed at its junction with the A428, which was heavy towards St Neots, due to traffic being diverted.

In the other direction traffic is still very heavy between Fenstanton and Huntingdon and the A1 spur.
