Our favourite reader photos capturing the River Nene

It is World River Day today (Sunday) - and to celebrate we have put together a collection of readers’ photos capturing scenes around Peterborough.

Some show the beauty of the River Nene and its backwaters, the wildlife to be found there, others show the instantly recognisable bridges and other structures synonymous with the river.
