It follows the enforced closure in March , as part of the national social distancing measures to tackled the coronavirus pandemic.

While visitors have been barred, the team at the attraction have been busy working on measures to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit.

The park announced on its website yesterday that it was still awaiting official confirmation, adding: “Provided the announcement tonight confirms what the media is reporting, from tomorrow (Thursday) our on-line ticket purchase system will go live.

Work has been going on at the Park over the past few weeks, to extend the measures we had already implemented prior to closure back in March, to ensure that your visit is as enjoyable and as safe as possible.

“EVERYONE will need to buy a ticket on-line including tickets priced at £0.00 for all children aged 3 or less, AND all season ticket holders.

“Tickets will be limited in number each day, so that we can ensure that the Park does not become over-crowded and make sure that social distancing is possible. Over a kilometre of hard paths and acres of mown grass lawns will give ample space to spread out and enjoy the countryside and our wonderful animals.

“Public tickets will be available from Thursday 18th June.

“As a special thank you to our members and season ticket holders, Monday 15th to Wednesday 17th will be members only days. Season ticket holders will be emailed a one-off promotion code to allow them to buy a £0.00 priced ticket at checkout for these 3 days. Please show this e-ticket on your phone AND your season ticket at reception.”
