But if you aren’t planning a staycation or jetting off abroad, you could still enjoy an escape to the seaside for a fun day out. All at less than two hours’ drive away, these nine beaches are all within easy reach of Peterborough, and provide a picturesque spot to relax against the backdrop of sun, sea and sand.
1. Snettisham Beach
