They are encouraging you to go online and visit their Vivacity at Home website and facebook pages where you can choose from a variety of free fitness classes and exercise programmes for all abilities.

The website, which is updated weekly, features on-demand exercise videos from their amazing team of qualified instructors. Whether you fancy a dose of Ab-Blast to shape and tone that six-pack; HIIT, delivering a great cardio and fat burning workout or the calming and powerful benefits of Yoga, there really is something for everyone.

The team also have some great classes, featuring chair-based, balance and strength exercises. These classes are ideal if your mobility is challenged or have a health condition and are working to improve your fitness.

Most classes last between 20 and 40 minutes and provide a great way to keep active and healthy from the comfort of your own home. You don’t need any special equipment and the Vivacity team guide you through with expertise to ensure you work out safely.

Along with classes to enjoy at your leisure, you can challenge yourself with Dom’s daily exercises on their facebook page, not for the faint-hearted but definitely something to aim for!

If you need the motivation of following a live class, Vivacity have got you covered! This week, they launched their popular Les Mills class timetable. Absolutely free, you just need to be able to access the Vivacity at Home facebook group to get involved and workout along with the instructor, as if you were in the gym!

Operations Director Jon Marsdensaida: “It is rewarding to be able to bring a little of what our gym members usually enjoy into people’s homes. The classes are being really well received for the many people who are missing their regular gym routine, but there is an added benefit for anyone who is just starting out on their fitness journey – you can work at your own pace, take breaks when you need and build confidence as you go. For some this virtual step into gyms could be a real boost. As a team we get an enormous amount of pleasure from helping people with their fitness goals, whatever they may be. Even though we can’t be face to face doing what we love best, this is the next best thing until we can reopen the doors and welcome customers back to our venues again”.
