Lockdown ends and Peterborough enters Tier 2 restrictions today (Wednesday) which means restaurants and pubs serving substantial meals can open their doors to diners once more.

So with restaurants in Peterborough pulling out all the stops to make sure they are safe and covid secure to welcome back sit-down guests, here are some of the city venues which will be happy for your custom in the run-up to Christmas.

A number will open seven days a week throughout December, with some planning special Christmas Day and Boxing Day offerings, and one even introducing a £10 “substantial meal deal”.
