When Peterborough’s fish and chips lovers can return to Parrotts
A Peterborough city centre restaurant closed since December is getting ready to return - for takeaways at least.
Family run Parrotts Fish & Chips has been a feature of Peterborough life for 40 years - and a fixture on Midgate since 1986.
The restaurant across two floors and takeaway closed due to tier restrictions and lockdown before Christmas.
However, with those restrictions being eased next month, a sign is now fixed in the window announcing its return. It says: “Parrotts will be open again on Monday 12th April takeaways only”.
