. Contactless payments only, either by card, phone or the Starbucks Rewards app which also enables customers to order ahead. Plexiglass screens will also be in place across all stores.

. A free, tall beverage for NHS workers of their choice.

. Food will also be on offer but with a slightly more restricted menu.

Meanwhile, QD in the Orton Centre has re-opened today (Wednesday).

The discount retailer said: “We will be limiting the number of customers entering the store - please be patient with us if you have to queue. Please shop alone where possible.

“We have a designated queuing area outside with markers placed at two metre intervals to help you respect each other’s space. There are also two metre floor markers inside, protective plastic screens at the checkouts and cleaning stations for our trolleys. We also encourage you to use contactless or card payments. Please keep each other safe and keep to a safe distance at all times.”
