Owner Rinaldo Fasulo took to facebook this afternoon to announce the opening of the popular venue from Monday to Saturday, offering takeaway only pizza and a selection of wine, from 12pm to 9pm.

The restaurant has been closed since March because of Government restrictions as part of its Covid-19 pandemic measures.

However, with the lockdown eased slightly as of this week, Rinaldo said: “It is takeaway at the moment, Monday to Saturday, 12pm to 9pm.

“I hope it’s only for a few weeks then we can start opening the restaurant on the outside.”

Pizza House joins Cowgate neighbours The Pizza Parlour and Music Cafe and Embe Afro-Caribbean restaurant which offer dishes on a takeaway or collection basis.

Also today, The Chalkboard bistro and tearooms, on The Embankment, launched its takeaway menu offering dishes.
