Peterborough steak and burger restaurant gets ready for reopening
The revamped patio area outside Peterborough burger and steak specialist XOXO will be back in use next month.
Following the easing of lockdown restictions on April 12, the grill house restaurant - which has run a successful takeaway operation in recent months - will welcome back sit-down customers for the first time since before Christmas.
And just in time for the King Street restaurant to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
Owner Sameer Bashir said: “We have been on all the delivery platforms during lockdown and it hasn’t been too bad, we have lots of regular customers, but it is not the same as when we are properly open.
“But from April 12 we will be able to welcome them back, when we open the outside area. It can seat about 20 people and we had it revamped last summer so it will look really good.
“We will be open every day, but from 5pm to 10pm, and then hopefully in May we will be able to get back to something like normal.”
Booking online is recommended.
