Peterborough restaurant’s 50 per cent off key worker offer

Gurkha Durbaar, a Nepalese and Indian restaurant on Broadway, will reopen to the public - in line with Government advice on social distancing - on Saturday, July 4.
But keen to show support for those that have helped city communities get through the Covid-19 pandemic - partner Prem Devkota said he was keen to give something back.

“We don’t just want to celebrate the contribution of the NHS but everyone who has been vital to communities in Peterborough - all of our key workers.
“If key workers come with some form of identification there will be 50 per centre off starters and main courses for two months.
“This is a generous offer but we are number one Peterborough restaurant on Trip Advisor and we want to lead by example.”

“We have a lot of space and we can keep our tables two metres apart, not just one metre,” he added. “We will take safety very seriously and each table will have hand sanitisers for guests.”
