The popular venue changed hands over the summer and has now reopened after a significant renovation project saw it closed for several weeks. Ray Groves and Vince Gosling, who own the Addison Arms at Glatton, took the helm after the previous owners of more than 20 years retired. The beer cellar and kitchen have undergone work, while the public areas - main bar, foyer and Hunt room - have been redecorated - and it has been well-received by pub regulars. Work on the kitchen is ongoing, so it is drinks only at the moment, said Ray, who added: “With the current Covid restrictions in place we don’t in visage serving food from our a la carte menu yet. We hope to be able to offer some type of menu in the next few weeks.” And it won’t end there. Next year there are plans for en-suite guest rooms and a sports bar.
