New bar and restaurant planned at former Peterborough city centre nightspot

Peterborough’s former Halo bar is set to be transformed into a restaurant and late night bar called Coyotes.

A huge refurbishment is under way at the venue, which was opened by city entrepreneur Rinaldo Fasulo in 2010 on the corner of Northminster and New Road, and which closed in 2017,

While the work takes place, a late night music licence until 3am has been sought from Peterborough City Council, to take effect from September 1, by partner in the business chef Lee Vernall.

The application describes the venue - Coyotes Bar and Grill - as a “diner and late night bar with dance floor”.

The venure will be a huge boost for the New Road area, which saw 2020 World Buffet restaurant open last week.
