The new cafe will open on Tuesday, April 14
The opening of Peterborough Cathedral’s new cafe will coincide with the unveiling of a giant dinosaur exhibit next week.
CATH, founded by the team behind The Cheesy Pig, will open to visitors on Tuesday, April 14.
The cafe, located in a newly-renovated space inside Beckets Chapel, will serve a range of hot and cold food options, as well as drinks.

CATH owners, Sam Smith and Chris Coley, said: “We are truly delighted to be opening in such a prestigious and historic setting, and to have the opportunity to contribute something special to Peterborough.
“Our ambition is to create a vibrant yet inclusive space, where individuals, families, and friends alike feel equally at home.
“With exceptional food and drink at the heart of our offering, from a perfectly prepared oat milk latte to a carefully crafted cocktail, we hope to bring an experience that resonates with the city and its visitors.”
CATH’s opening early next week will coincide with the unveiling of the Cathedral’s new Titanosaur exhibition.
The cast of the Patagotitan Mayorum is being loaned to Peterborough Cathedral by the Natural History Museum between Monday, April 13 and Sunday, May 31.
Measuring 37 metres long and six metres tall, the colossal titanosaur is set to tower over visitors inside the 900-year-old Cathedral.
Admission to see Titanosaur is priced at £6, with tickets available online or on the door.
