The food and drink industry has been hit hard with government advice on Coronavirus, but measures will be in place to ensure the safety of staff and customers when the doors open on New Road at 5pm. “Until the Government announce a lockdown we have no option but to open, said restaurateur Paul Sharma, one of the team behind the venture. “But we are taking precautionary measures. “We have separated tables and set them further apart. There will be he hand gel stations across the restaurant and we will limit the number of bookings so we do not get overcrowded. “We are thinking very carefully about staff and customer safety.” The restaurant, as the name suggests, will serve a variety of world cuisines - Japanese teppanyaki, Indian, Nepalese, Chinese, Thai, and Italian.
