Balkan cafe plan for Peterborough city centre
A former salad bar in Peterborough city centre has been earmarked for conversion to a Balkan/Turkish style cafe called Gossip.
A licensing application has been submitted to Peterborough city council for use of the former Green Bay Salads premises, in Midgate.
The bid - submitted by Gossip Ltd - says the Balkan/Turkish style cafe would provide hot and cold drinks, food such as pastries and cakes, snacks and hot meals, as well as alcoholic drinks with seating inside and outside.
There would also be television screens showing pre-recorded films, tv shows and music
Opening hours from 7am to 11pm have been requested, starting from May 1.
