A first look inside the new Peterborough Cathedral cafe

The Peterborough Telegraph has been inside the new cafe in the grounds of the cathedral.

CATH, founded by the team at popular caterers The Cheesy Pig, officially opened on Tuesday (April 14).

The cafe, located in a newly-renovated space inside Beckets Chapel, will serve a range of teas, coffees, iced drinks and cold drinks as well as plenty of food and cakes.

The cafe is dog-friendly and will be open daily from 8am to 4pm.

CATH owners, Sam Smith and Chris Coley, said: “We are truly delighted to be opening in such a prestigious and historic setting, and to have the opportunity to contribute something special to Peterborough.

“Our ambition is to create a vibrant yet inclusive space, where individuals, families, and friends alike feel equally at home.

“With exceptional food and drink at the heart of our offering, from a perfectly prepared oat milk latte to a carefully crafted cocktail, we hope to bring an experience that resonates with the city and its visitors.”
