10 dogs close to Peterborough that are in need of a new home

Ace came in us via inspectorate. He is an affectionate gentleman who will require a quiet yet active household. He could live with a well matched canine companion, no felines, and children aged 12+ who have experience around dogs. He will also require an owner who is around a lot of the day to provide him with all the love and attention he deserves. Could you offer our lovely boy a retirement home?

The Peterborough Telegraph is running regular spotlights on dogs that need new homes to support the work of animal charities in the Peterborough area.

The Peterborough and District Branch of the RSPCA do so much to rescue, nurture and subsequently rehome dogs in the area. They have continued to operate throughout lockdown and within a small radius are still permitted to rehome these animals.

Below are a selection of those that have been rescued and are in need of their forever home.

Paris is such a lovely girl; Gentle giant really does fit her personality. When it comes to fuss and cuddles, she knows what she wants, and she is not afraid to ask. She shared her previous home with another dog, so she might appreciate having another friendly dog in the home, but she is so human focused that it's not a 'must'. (She'd probably be just as happy keeping all the fuss and cuddles for herself!)
