Pictures from Peterborough’s past: ‘Were you at the East of England Show in 2004?’

The East of England Show was a Peterborough event that attracted crowds from across the region and the whole country in its heyday.

Organised by the East of England Agricultural Society the show was held each year at the 250 acre East of England Showground at Alwalton, until the show finally finished after the 2012 event.

The 2004 event was attended by the Duke of Gloucester and the demonstrations featured many household names including Monty Don from the BBC’s Gardeners’ World.

Were you a fan of the show? Did you attend the 2004 event?
