Here’s a blast from the past - who remembers getting an ice cream from Mr Gino back in the early 1980s?

That is when the main image was taken in Cromwell Road.

It would be great to get the adults and children waiting for their treat back together for an up to date photo for my next book Reunions 2.

Mr Gino - or Gino Borrillo - now runs the wonderful little pasta shop in Queens Walk.

The second image of four children in the Gladstone Strteet area is from the same time. They were camera shy when I asked them to feature in my book Reunions 1 in 2015 - I hope they have had a change of heart!
