Looking back: Do you recognise these Peterborough street scenes?
The city centre has long been a rich source of material for photographer Chris Porsz.
Over the years he has captured hundreds of street scenes and city characters.
The first picture captures a vibrant scene in Cathedral Square.
Chris asks: “Who was the girl getting a cuddle from a gorilla and the boy with possibly his dad?”
Who recognises the chap on the right with the camera?
The other pictures were taken in Bridge Street.
Something has caught the attention of the couple on the left but Chris can’t remember what it was.
The colour picture was taken at Christmas around 1982.
If you know anybody in the pictures contact Chris as he is putting together his new book Reunions the sequel in which he recreates his old photos.
The chap by the camera is none other than the Peterborough Telegraph’s David Lowndes.
