Looking Back: ‘Christmas in the Cathedral on TV’

Here’s a wonderful photograph from a Christmas past in Peterborough.

Andy wrote: “ There was an article, possibly The Peterborough Advertiser, in December 1962 entitled ‘CHRISTMAS STORY - ON FILM FOR TV’

“The scene in Peterborough Cathedral on Thursday when over 2,000 primary school children took part in a carol service which was filmed for showing on Anglia Television on Christmas Day.’’
