Say no to diabetes

Healthier You is delivered by Reed Wellbeing on behalf of NHS England. Since 2015, they have supported more than 82,000 people to reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes.

Healthier You participant Philip Collumbine has experienced huge benefits to his health as a result of the service. He said: “The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme is extremely informative, well delivered, easy to understand and to follow.

“I’m really happy that by engaging in the programme, I’m saying no to diabetes.

“Now at the mid-point of the programme, my weight and BMI are at normal level, my clothes are fitting better, and my high blood pressure condition is now at normal level.

“If you are considering the service, I would just say ‘don’t hesitate – participate!’”
