Thirteen Christmas Day babies born at Peterborough City Hospital

Six girls and seven boys were born at the hospital on December 25 - giving their families a Christmas to remember.

Throughout December there were 365 births at the hospital - including four sets of twins.

However, unlike on Christmas Day, more girls than boys were born throughout the month - with 178 boys born and 187 girls being welcomed to the world.

The busiest day was December 11, when there were 20 births.
