Peterborough care company rated ‘Outstanding’ by Care Quality Commission

Focus Care Agency in The Metro Centre, Woodston, provides personal care to people in supported living settings who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and complex needs.

It was inspected by the regulator between January 31 and February 6 this year where it received the highest possible rating.

Elaine Cole, care director/registered manager, said: “This rating is a recognition of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our directors, managers and staff that ensure the support we provide every single day remains safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

“I would like to thank all our staff members, the service users, their relatives and the professionals who supported us throughout our inspection.”

The top rating caps off a successful 18 months for Focus Care which has seen it win several awards.

The company provides 24 hour tailored care packages for adults and children currently within Peterborough, Suffolk, Essex and East Sussex.
